Hidden Voices in Primary Care Study

Lead Researchers: Dr Andrew Finney and Dr Angela Clifford

Researchers in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Keele University are working on a research study called Hidden Voices in Primary Care.

This study is focused on understanding the causes and impacts of the recruitment and retention crisis of the general practice non-medical clinical workforce (including practice nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists, and others).

We conducted a short survey in November-January about the views and experiences of current staff and are grateful to those who completed it.

We are now looking for people who have left general practice from a non-medical clinical role in England since 2020 to complete a short survey about their views and experiences from their previous role. The Participant Information Sheet – which contains the survey link – can be found below.

The survey will be open from Monday 24th March.

For any questions about this study please contact Dr Angela Clifford a.clifford@keele.ac.uk.
