				This module forms part of the MSc Occupational Therapy (pre-registration) programme at Keele which is an innovative programme of study which prepares the graduate for diverse practice settings.This module will introduce students to the history and evolution of the occupational therapy profession, and will include key concepts, philosophy, values and beliefs. Students will have the opportunity to develop an understanding of the dynamic relationship between occupation, health and wellbeing and critically review the occupational therapy process.
			
		 
Aims		
			
				This module aims to introduce students to the core concepts of occupational therapy, theory and practice. Students will develop an understanding of the dynamic relationship between occupation, health and wellbeing. They will gain an understanding of the occupational therapy process in preparation for placement.
