				This module forms part of the MSc Occupational Therapy (pre-registration)  programme at Keele which is an innovative programme of study which prepares the graduate for diverse practice settings.Within this module students will have opportunities to participate in, practically facilitate and critically appraise and justify a range of specialist and diverse occupation focussed interventions for example splinting, wheelchair provision and pressure care, group work, vocational rehabilitation. Risk management, risk enablement and health and safety are key aspects of this module.
			
		 
Aims		
			
				This module focuses on the diversity of occupation focused interventions in contemporary occupational therapy practice. Students will have the opportunity to plan, justify, facilitate, participate and evaluate occupation focused interventions.

1: Practice Based Assessment weighted 75%Students will plan, risk assess and practically facilitate a 30 minute occupation focused group intervention.
