				The Research Skills and Funding module builds on content introduced in Year 1-3 of the MSci Physiotherapy programme and enables the student to understand funding bodies and to differentiate between approvals required for research.Students will have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills required for grant applications and participate in the peer review process.The module aims to prepare the student to produce a grant application and write a review for a funding application, whilst also developing transferable skills (such as knowledge of audit, team working and academic writing skills)  that can be applied in a variety of healthcare settings and specialities.
			
		 
Aims		
			
				This module aims to develop the students knowledge and skills required to seek funding for a research project related to health care; the value of the peer review process will be introduced and practised.  It is envisaged that the skills developed will be transferable to support applications for any source of healthcare related funding.
